OPERA LIRICA DI ROMA. The Magic of the Opera in the heart of Rome. Celebrate the most beloved Opera arias and renowned classical music pieces by Italy’s greatest composers — Verdi, Rossini, Puccini, Vivaldi, Leoncavallo and Mascagni -and experience the timeless beauty of Italian music. Great Arias, Great Composers: The program is performed by a string quartet accompanying tenor and soprano soloists. Our musicians and singers are all graduates of the prestigious Conservatorio di Musica Santa Cecilia in Rome. A Unique Venue: Palazzo della Cancelleria. The concerts take place in the magnificent Palazzo della Cancelleria, one of Rome’s most remarkable Renaissance palaces, in the heart of the historic city centre, just steps from Campo de’ Fiori. The concert is held in the prestigious Aula Magna, also known as the Sala Riaria, the grand main hall of the palace. Before the concert, our guests will also have the opportunity to admire the magnificent Cortile Nobile (Noble Courtyard), a remarkable Renaissance courtyard attributed to the celebrated architect Donato Bramante. It is a unique setting where art, history and the timeless emotion of Opera come together.
