The church of Saint Germain d'Auxerre (in French église Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois) is a Catholic worship site in Paris, located in Place du Louvre, in the 1st arrondissement, in front of the east facade of the Louvre Palace. The church became the parish of the French royalties since the Valois family settled in the Louvre. Many court artists such as Nöel-Nicolas Coypel, François Boucher etc. are buried there. The church is located near the metro stations of Paris, Louvre-Rivoli (line 1) and Pont Neuf (line 7).
